We are a new dynamic and customer-focused dispensary and cosmetics store, dedicated to providing top-notch service and products to our community. Acacia Innovations is looking for a passionate and qualified pharmacist to join our team.

Position: Pharmacy Technologist (entry level)
Core Duties:
Assist to accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, ensuring all details are correct.
Communicate effectively with patients and clients, answering their questions.
Measure, mix, and label medications correctly.
Ensure full compliance of regulatory requirements in line with ZAMRA.
Keep up-to-date patient records and medication histories.
Process billing and keep an accurate financial record.
Assist in keeping the retail store tidy and clean.
Marketing:
Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
Assist in organizing and executing promotional campaigns for new products or services using appropriate channels.
Participate in community health events to promote the pharmacy’s services.
Manage a social media page to gain traction and build a positive image of the store.
Cash Management:
Manage cash transactions accurately, including receiving payments and providing change.
Maintain records of daily transactions and prepare financial reports.
Ensure the cash register balances at the end of each shift.
Inventory Sourcing and Control:
Order and stock medications, ensuring optimal inventory levels and high-efficiency ratios.
Conduct regular inventory audits to track stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Monitor medication expiry dates and manage the removal of expired products.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of medications and negotiate better terms.
Requirements:
Diploma in Pharmacy Technology (Only Diploma Holders will be considered).
Valid practicing license from HPCZ and other relevant authorities.
Strong passion for dispensary and cosmetics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferably someone who resides near or around Chalala, Lusaka.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience is a must.
Aged below 40 years.
Compensation:
Payment based on the number of hours worked and output.
Remuneration may be between ZMW 2,000 and ZMW 3,000 per month.
