Injection Moulding Operator TopFloor Limited

Our client, one of the largest franchisee manufacturing carbonated beverages and non-carbonated beverages is looking to hire suitable candidates for the position of Injection Moulding Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection moulding machines, ensuring correct settings for material, temperature, pressure, and timing.
• Load raw materials into injection moulding machines, including granules, powder, or pellets, as needed.
• Monitor the production process to ensure that parts are produced according to quality specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or abnormalities and take corrective actions as needed to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, including jams, faults, or malfunctions.
• Ensure moulds are correctly installed and safely maintained throughout production cycles.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and adjustments to machines and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn when required.
• Work closely with quality control personnel to ensure that products meet all required specifications and standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new or junior operators on best practices and machine operation.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to production, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or Advanced Certificate in Mechanical/ Engineering / Electrical or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning).
• Previous experience in injection moulding operations or a related manufacturing field is preferred.
• Knowledge of injection moulding machines, processes, and materials.
  Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as work orders, machine manuals, and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring machine performance.
• Strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
