1. Ambulance Driver x 1
Reports to: Clinic Supervisor
Job Overview:
To convey any person who becomes sick or injured whilst at work to the hospital for continued medical care or his /her home for quick recovery as well as to attend to emergency calls from Limestone Resources Ltd community to the hospital for medical attention.
Accountabilities/Tasks
- Checks and cleans the ambulance daily and ensures that the vehicle is kept in hygienic condition and makes sure that the vehicle is ready for use at any time.
- Receives instructions from the Clinic Supervisor and drives the patient or injured to the hospital for treatment and back home after treatment in order to preserve life.
- Completes mileage in the logbook for trips undertaken during the shift for submission to the clinic supervisor for monitoring and follow up on ambulance maintenance schedule in order to prolong the life span of the vehicle.
- Responds to ambulance call outs from Limestone Resources Limited community and takes patients to hospitals for treatment.
- Drives other company vehicles in the absence of pool drivers for continuity purposes e.g. Ferrying employees to and from work.
- Records particulars about patients attended to for onward submission to the Clinic Supervisor for future reference.
- Administers first Aid while in transit to hospitals in case of collapsed patients in order to preserve life
- Responsible for the implementation, understanding and compliance of all safety rules of his area and proper housekeeping and also ensure compliance to ISO 22000, 9001,14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade twelve (12) certificates.
- PSV Driving License
- First Aid Certificate
- Defensive Driving certificate.

2. Driver x 1
Reports to: Head Driver
Job Overview:
To safely drive company vehicles for transporting personnel, tools, equipment and materials as required.
Accountabilities/Tasks
- Drives company vehicles to various destinations to transport personnel, tools, equipment and materials as assigned.
- Carries out pre-shift checks on the condition of the vehicle and completes log sheet and road vehicle daily check list for details on the vehicle regarding mileage, engine oil, Tyre pressure etc.
- Washes and cleans the vehicle so that it remains clean for the next use.
- Reports all faults and ensure maintenance works on them.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade twelve (12) certificates.
- PSV Driving License
