Key Responsibility
Must be able to make pastries( pies, samosa, shawarma) etc.
Assist chef and other Kitchen staff in various food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, marinating etc.
Assist in preparation of basic dishes when required
Help in packing and occasionally serve food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify chef when items need restocking
Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation
Requirements
Grade 12 certificate
Certificate in food production or related field is an added advantage
Knowledge of local Zambian foods
Must be physically fit
Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
Ability to work in fast paced environment
