Shift lab Supervisor
The primarily responsibilities include the following
Core Duties
- Carrying out laboratory operations (samples preparation, cyanide titrations, pH, flowrates)
- Plant SG sheet record keeping & reporting.
- Ensure that all tests are performed accurately and according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Review and validate analytical results before reporting to process teams and senior management
- Develop work schedules and assign tasks to laboratory staff to maintain efficient laboratory operations.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of Diploma in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a gold processing plant laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of gold assay techniques, including fire assay, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) practices and ISO standards.
- Experience with laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
- Proficiency in laboratory data management and reporting software.
