Technical Sales and Tender Specialist Freshtec Energy

Job Summary: Freshtec Energy Zambia is looking for a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales and Tender Specilist to join our energetic sales team. The Salesperson will be responsible for nurturing and growing our client base by identifying new business opportunities through tendering, engaging with potential clients, and providing exceptional service to existing customers. This role requires a strong knowledge of the national tendering and understanding of our product offerings and the ability to effectively communicate benefits to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Tenders

  • Search for tenders’ advertisements on various platforms
  • Analyse tender requirements, complete and compile tender documents and supporting documents
  • Take note and attend to tender briefing session date, due dates, submission instruction and requirements
  • Liaise with relevant sources (internally and externally) for information required for submissions
  • Collaborate with the team to assist with the compilation of proposals and any other related required documents
  • Ensure that all tender administrative tasks are completed timeously
  • To ensure strict adherence to proposal submission deadlines, including review, binding, packaging and preparation of submitted documents.
  • Binding, scanning and record keeping of completed tenders
  • Ensure all tender compliance documents are compliant and up to date
  • Ensure timely liaison with stakeholders
  • Respond to request for quotations

Solar Solutions Sales

  • New business development, cold calling potential clients. Conduct client meetings to present and sell company products and services. Meeting and communicating with customers in-store
  • Providing customers with information on various company products
  • Understanding the customer’s requirements and suggesting products that suits their need and budget
  • Processing customers orders, and arranging collections and delivery of the orders
  • Communicating shipping charges and other tax related information to the customers
  • Informing customers about any promotional offers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry insights.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven Tender and sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy, technology or electrical Sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Energetic, driven, and committed to achieving sales goals.
