Job Opportunity: Compliance Officer
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance? We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Lusaka. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our company’s adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a key role in mitigating legal and regulatory risks, managing contracts, and maintaining a strong compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
· Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
· Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
· Manage and review contracts, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company policies.
· Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
· Investigate and respond to compliance violations and inquiries.
· Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records.
· Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
· Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
· Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
