Harakati Logistics is a growing logistics and transportation company committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and timely logistics solutions across Zambia and beyond. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Transport & Logistics Officer to join our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics and transportation operations
- To assist in finding business opportunities
- Manage the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles and drivers
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and roadworthy
- Track deliveries and ensure timely distribution of goods
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities, fuel usage, and vehicle logs
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies
- Liaise with clients, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Address and resolve transportation issue or delay effectively
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and logistics software is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
